Sweet Heart ......

Happy Valentines Day !!!

This very simple Valentines card started it's life on a 5 x 5 inch square white card blank.  I chose a rubber stamp from Studio G and inked up in various shades of red and pink Impress dye ink and stamped multiple times on the face of the card.

The sentiment (Papertrey Ink) was inked in black Versafine ink and stamped on more white card which was trimmed, edged in black ink and applied centrally on foam pads.

Harey Love ......

Happy Valentines Day !!!

Sorry about the title !!  Couldn't resist !!

This card started with a 5 x 7 inch white card blank.  I cut a slightly smaller matt in more white card on which to work.  I first stamped a loving hares stamp (Crafty Individuals - Alice Palace) in black Memento dye ink onto the matt.  This was coloured with Alcohol Ink markers.

The sentiment from the same company was stamped in Versafine black ink on another piece of white card which was trimmed and matted onto some textured pink card.  This was then stuck in place on foam pads.

Finishing touches were added with pink Posca marker in the dotty border, noses and on the hearts along with a couple of pearl cabochons.

I Heart You ......

Happy Valentines Day !!!

Another Valentines Card in the CAS style from me.  I started with a 5 x 5 inch square white card blank.

I stamped a swirly heart from Prima onto red card in Versafine black ink.  I trimmed the heart out with scissors.  I die-cut an arrow in the same cardstock and stuck this in place on the heart.

The heart was then mounted on foam pads as shown.  I stamped the sentiment (Some Odd Girl) onto white card in more Versafine black ink, trimmed this out and edged with black ink before mounting on more foam pads as shown.

Finishing touch was to add a dash & dot border with a black Micron Pen.

Number one !!

Yet another Valentines Card from me.  I started with a 5 x 7 inch white card blank which I stamped with a bobbly acrylic stamp from Uniko which could be curved on the acrylic block.  I used Versafine black ink.

Next I diecut some stitched hearts in pink dotty cardstock and attached these on foam pads following the line of the stamped image. I added a self adhesive crystal to each as shown.

The sentiment (Crafty Individuals) was stamped in more Versafine black ink on white card and this was then matted on some pink card before mounting on more foam pads.

The card was finished by edging with dashes using a black Micron pen.

Colour My Heart ......

Love is in the air !  This Valentine card could also be used as a love card.

I started with a 5 x 7 inch white card blank and I worked directly onto this.  I took a Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz inksplat stamp and stamped multiple times in red, yellow, green & blue Impress dye ink.  At the same time I inked more white card direct to card in each of the colours.

I then die-cut 4 stitched hearts from the card I had previously coloured and mounted the hearts over the inksplats on foam pads.

I added a coloured pearl cabochon on each of the hearts as shown and stamped the sentiment on white card in Versafine black ink. I trimmed this out out, edged with more black ink and mounted on more foam pads to finish.

This card has been entered into the That's Crafty Challenge Blog for February whose theme is 'I Heart You'.

Heart Flower

Another Valentines card from me today in the CAS style.

I took a 4 x 4 inch square white card blank and cut a slightly smaller matt in white card on which to work.

I stamped the plant pot and stem (Beth Hughes) and wiped off the ink from the flower.  I then diecut a heart in pink spotty paper, sticking in place on stem in place of the flower.  The pot was 'grounded' with a few lines added with black Micron pen.

The matt was edged by hand in a dot-dash scribble using a pink Posca Marker.

The sentiment was stamped on white card in Versafine black ink, trimmed out and matted on more of the pink spotty paper before mounting on foam pads as shown.  The matt was then applied to the front of the card on foam pads.
